Join me for a scenic biking tour and take your camera along! The bike route takes you to the border region between Finland and Norway and offers lots of photo opportunities.
”The German Road” is a narrow and winding gravel road on the fells, built during WWII as part of the so-called Lyngen Defence Line. The road leads from the greenery of birch woods uphill, above the tree line where the landscape opens up towards the great fells and lakes of the three bordering countries: Sweden, Norway and Finland. You’ll get acquainted with the history and nature of the region and enjoy a picnic snack around open fire during the trip.
