Hetta Hiihtomaa is also the home of year round frisbee golf. The basic principle is similar to regular golf; instead of a ball and club you have a frisbee and the hole is replaced by a basket-like target. The person to get around the entire course in the least amount of throws is the winner. In summer it's a 9 hole course, during winter it's a 6 hole course, it's free to use, and is open all day, every day. If you don't have your own frisbee you can rent one from the Fell Lapland Visitor Centre. For winter use you can rent snowshoes at the Hetta Hiihtomaa Winter Activities Centre. Scorecards and course maps are available at the Hetta Hiihtomaa and Fell Lapland Visitor Centre.
