Jyppyrä rises about 400 metres above sea level next to the village of Hetta. From the top you can admire the Pallas-Ounastunturi fell chain.

Unique formations were often places of spiritual worship for our ancestors. Jyppyrä was one of these sites, which is easy to believe. The beauty of the view from the lookout is overwhelming. Getting to Jyppyrä is easy: a marked trail leads from the Fell Lapland Nature Center to the top. You can explore the cultural history of Jyppyrä along the way. Once at the top, you can take a moment in the shelter to cook sausages on open fire – food often jokingly referred to as the favorite vegetable of Finnish men.
